Skeletons in top hats, witches stirring cauldrons, pumpkins spilling down the steps. Which door would you knock on? All captured in the last two days…. 🎃👻♥️
Halloween at @kewgardens is back 🎃🕯️ Headless rid Halloween at @kewgardens is back 🎃🕯️ Headless riders, glowing skeletons, a witch’s bubbling cauldron and neon cobwebs… Kew Gardens has taken a spooky turn. 📅 16 October – 1 November 2026 🕕 6–10pm until 24 October; 4–10pm from 25 October. Last entry 8.30pm. 🎟️ Book ahead. 👻 Family-friendly, with earlier sessions better for little ones. The scares increase later. 🚶 Around 1.5km; allow 1–1.5 hours. Is this what they mean by a midlife getaway? Becau Is this what they mean by a midlife getaway? Because I’m in. 🙋🏻‍♀️ Three days at @maxxroyalbodrum with three women I’d never met before, and by the end it felt like we’d known each other for years. Long lunches, sunsets and a lot of laughing. @erica_davies @lisaingmarinelli @hodgetempleman , thank you for being such lovely company. And we ate so well. Menemen for breakfast, caviar on jacket potatoes (yes, really), smoked salmon pizza, grilled sea bass by the water… Up for sunrise, in the hammam by mid-morning, rosé when the pool turned pink. One more taste of summer before heading home to London. Who would you bring? 👇🏻 Thank you @maxxroyalbodrum and @mason_rose for having me. Ad/ press trip.
“You know what we need to do more? Enjoy life…” O “You know what we need to do more? Enjoy life…” Our definitions of enjoying life are clearly different 😂 Though this was us in the summer too. I just can’t bring myself to swim in the Serpentine, especially on a foggy October morning. On any day, really 🙈 Envious, but staying firmly on dry land. I’ll enjoy this one from the bank. London, you’re making it very difficult to get any London, you’re making it very difficult to get anywhere on time 👀 A few distractions along the way: 1. Pelicans enjoying the sunshine — St James’s Park 🦤 2. A giant bug stealing the show — Leadenhall Market 🪲 3. A horse who knows his best angle — Horse Guards, Whitehall 🐴 4. Skeletons dressed for a disco — Covent Garden 💀🪩 5. The London Eye peeking above the trees — South Bank 🎡 6. Buildings showing off in the sunshine — Whitehall ✨ 7. A pink sky over London — worth stopping wherever you are 🌸 None of these stops were on my to-do list. All of them put a smile on my face. A reminder to myself: leave a little time for the things you didn’t set out to find. What’s the last thing you noticed on a walk that made you smile? 😊 Happy Sunday Xx💋 Rita
